Five Years Later

Postby Visarts on Fri Nov 13, 2009 5:50 am

Well, more like five-and-a-half, but who's counting?

I had this brilliant, nostalgic message written about the rickety old house that is Portitude, and then, when I submitted it, I got an SQL error. Irony.

Anyway, if you're reading this, happy late 5th. I'll be around more, if it matters much.

Has it been that long? What's on for the next 5 then?

We need something to bring more legitimate people to the forums...
I haven't checked the site stats in a while, but I think the forums are the least used on the site. Which reminds me, I seriously need to find time to work on my site.... but that's beside the point.

But yeah, we need a brain storming session on how we can get more people, real people who really care...

I'm still advocating the use of tasteful ads. Well placed, subtle but there. This place with some capital could be huge. Get some capital, hire someone to do the work on a CMS we could never get done, and voila. Now we've suddenly got an easily updated site. I'm pretty sure I've lost all the cPanel passwords by now, but I'd be we don't exactly have low traffic numbers.
